Background & Licensure

Building a Solid Foundation

I will help you discover the tools you need for transformation and provide the support you need for expansion, so you feel in control of your life again.

Therapy is a collaborative process focused on your growth and well-being. By utilizing research supported modalities like EMDR, we’ll explore the roots of your concerns, develop coping mechanisms, and cultivate practices to manage life’s pressures. Through the process of therapy, you’ll develop resilience, find your focus, free yourself from old beliefs and expectations and make conscious, positive decisions that move you closer to a life with more ease, self-awareness, acceptance and growth.

I believe therapy should be interactive and engaging.

I will use role-plays, grounding meditations and body oriented questions to help you explore and understand your inner landscape. Imagine, coming back home to yourself, changing the patterns in your life that don’t work for you, and finding more compassion for yourself and others.

My Approach

I use a two-pronged approach with anxiety. First, I teach mindfulness tools to help you regulate your nervous system, which gives you some immediate relief. Next, I help you understand the underlying emotions that drive your anxiety. This will create resolution which will help you release tension in your body, allowing you to become calmer and more relaxed.

Techniques

  • Gestalt Therapy
  • Somatic Techniques
  • Mindfulness Practices
  • Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

Partnership at the Core

I view therapy as a collaborative partnership. Together, we explore the patterns, experiences, and emotions that drive your behaviors and symptoms. This process is not something I do to you—it’s something we create together, rooted in trust, authenticity, and respect.

Understanding & Self-Compassion

Through this exploration, you gain a deeper understanding of yourself. With insight comes self-compassion—the key that unlocks meaningful and lasting healing. When you can meet yourself with kindness rather than judgment, real transformation becomes possible.

An Interactive, Engaging Process

I am an active and engaged therapist. Our work is dynamic, not passive. Depending on your needs, I may incorporate:
  • Role-plays to help you practice new ways of relating.
  • Grounding meditations to connect you with your body and calm your nervous system.
  • Body-oriented questions to help you tune into the wisdom of your somatic experience.
These tools help us access different layers of awareness—thoughts, feelings and body sensations.

Feedback & Collaboration

I value and welcome your feedback at every stage. Therapy works best when it fits who you are. Together, we will tailor a therapy experience that feels supportive, flexible, and aligned with your goals.

How I Work

My approach to therapy is collaborative and practical. We focus on your goals while creating space for insight, healing, and growth. Here’s what you can expect when we work together

We begin by exploring what’s happening in your life right now — your concerns, challenges, and goals. This gives us a clear starting point and helps us focus our work where it matters most.

Practice in the Real World

Between sessions, you’ll bring what we talk about into your daily life and see what happens. Then, you bring back what works — and what doesn’t — so we can reflect, readjust, and keep building momentum.

Make Progress Toward Your Goals

Over time, you’ll notice meaningful progress in how you think, feel, and relate. As you grow, we’ll revisit your goals at a deeper level—assessing where you are, refining practices, and continuing the process of healing and transformation.
